At a time when much of the federal government seems determined to destroy itself in order to honor some warped definition of freedom, the dietary supplement industry is a living reminder of the absolute need for oversight.

But Washington doesn't seem likely to take action anytime soon. So it's up to Massachusetts lawmakers to step up and do something good.
